Treating Myself - Day 149

Tired of lugging a camera bag and a purse when we travel and not having a camera handy when I need it, I treated myself. This camera bag has padding for camera and lense, expandable space for wallet and other stuff as well as pockets. Plus, it disassembles and flattens down to almost nothing to put in a suitcase. Loving it!

Steamer Trunk - Day 143

I've been fascinated with this steamer trunk ever since it appeared in the basement of the Family Home many years ago. Mom picked it up at our neighbor, Rip Hoffman's yard sale. It has the name Allison scrawled on the side.

For years, many of the family papers and photos that now reside in the Archival Closet lived in this trunk. We brought it to Arizona last fall and I'm trying to decide between a couple of spots for it in the house.

Juvenile Eagles and the Garden - Day 141

The "teenagers" were out on this drizzly day to practice flying. Shortly after capturing this shot a second eagle showed up. Unfortunately, the camera had been packed for the trip home so I couldn't get the two of them handing out together.

Our new significantly downsized garden is planted and ready to go. The radished were just peeking out of the soil.
