Day 15 - Steel Pennies

Still playing with the macro feature on the camera.

I found a roll of my grandfather's steel pennies. For those of you real young 'uns, during World War II, the government used steel instead of copper to make pennies. Copper was in short supply and needed for more important things in support of the war.

  2. Lovely effect! I'll have to see what I can do with the macro setting - up to this point i've only used it to take pictures of documents! (Yes, I still keep that as an option, even with a Flip Pal and Magic Wand scanners.)

    1. Thanks Greta! I still take pictures of documents too although I really do love the Magic Want and the Flip Pal. You have to work with what you have at the time.
