Spindles - Day 166

Mom had quite a few of these spindles she would decorate with. I'm told they are the real deal but can't remember what they were used for.

    I'm going to guess (without benefit of dear Google) that even the taller spindle were used for threads or yarns. They look like the real deal to me. Hard to duplicate that old color, beautiful.
